Quetta: Seven major Balochistan political parties sign Charter for Responsible Social Media Conduct under Individualland Pakistan initiative

Quetta (Gidroshia Point) In a landmark move, representatives of seven major political parties in Balochistan signed a Charter for Responsible Social Media Conduct under the leadership of Individualland Pakistan, pledging to promote ethical and fact-based online political engagement. The ceremony in Quetta aimed to curb misinformation, hate speech, and polarization in the digital political space. Signatories included BNP, National Party, PkNAP, Jamaat-e-Islami, PTI, Haqq Do Tehreek, Markazi Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith, and PML-N (Balochistan chapter). Party leaders welcomed the initiative, stressing the need for digital ethics and fact-checking training. Individualland representatives assured continued support through their online learning platform, while senior journalist Shehzada Zulfiqar called for periodic reviews to ensure progress. The initiative is part of Individualland Pakistan’s broader campaign promoting digital responsibility and media literacy nationwide.
